Flapjacks
You will need
 
150g of butter
1 tablespoon sun flower oil for greasing
200g porridge oats 
2 tablespoons golden syrup
100g demerara suger
preheat oven to gas mark 5, 190c,375f
makes 16
 
How to make them
- Melt the butter in a small saucepan.
 
Don't let it go brown.
Grease a shallow baking tray about 30 cm by 25 cm.

Anakiwa Flapjacks
 
375 g butter 
250 g  golden syrup
1 tsp baking soda
80 ml boiling water
475 g rolled oats 
100 g sultanas 
275 g flour 
80 g sunflower seeds 
165 g coconut 
100 g chopped apricots
1/4 cup toasted muesli 
 
- melt butter and sugar
 - add baking soda and water
 - mix in remaining ingredients
 - bake at 160º for 30 minutes
