Moist Chocolate Cake
Ingredients
1 1/2 C flour
1 C sugar
1/3 C cocoa
1 t baking soda
1 T vanilla essence
1 T vinegar
1/2 C oil
1 C water
1/2 C chocolate chips
- in mixing bowl sift and combine flour, sugar, cocoa and baking soda
- make a well in the middle and add essence, vinegar, oil and chocolate chips
- gradually stir in water, continue stirring until blended well, but don't over mix
- pour batter into a tin and bake on 180°C for 30-35 minutes or until skewer inserted in centre of cake comes out clean, don't over bake
- cool in the tin for 10 minutes, then transfer the cake to a rack to cool completely.
