Steamed Pudding

Steamed Pudding

2 oz butter 2 oz sultanas 2 oz sugar milk to mix 1 egg 1 tsp baking powder 6 oz flour

cream butter and sugar
mix in egg
add sifted flour and baking powder
add sultanas
mix with milk to a thick batter and pour into a greased basin
put basin in a pot of boiling water
steam for ½ hour

Serves 4
