125g butter
¼ cup cocoa
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla essence
½ cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
icing sugar to dust
- Grease a shallow 20cm square baking tin.
- Melt butter, when melted stir in cocoa.
- Stir in sugar and add eggs one at a time, beating well after each egg is added.
- Beat in essence.
- Sift baking powder and flour together, then add to the bowl.
- Bake at 180° for 30 mins.
- Allow to cool then dust with icing sugar.
