Chocolate Self Saucing Pudding
60 grams butter 1 ½ cups flour
1 cup castor sugar 1 tsp baking powder
1 ½ Tblsp cocoa 2 tsp vanilla essence
¾ cup milk
- melt butter and sugar, and stir in remaining ingredients until smooth
- put in ovenproof dish and sprinkle with sifted 1 cup brown sugar and 1 Tblsp cocoa
- carefully over a large upside-down spoon pour 2 cups boiling water
- cook in microwave 12 minutess on high and stand 5 minutes, or in oven 180oC until cooked.
Citrus Cake
2 cups sugar 2 eggs
1 cup plain yoghurt 3/4 cup of oil
rind of 4 lemons or 2 large oranges
- Add 2 cups of self raising flour
- Pour into a lined 22cm round cake tine
- Bake at 180oC for 45 minutes
- Top with 1/4 cup lemon juice and serve with yoghurt or cream

One rounded teaspoon baking powder per cup (or 200gms) of flour
Sherbet
1 cup of icing sugar
1 tspn baking soda
2 tspn raro or refresh
1 - 1½ tspn tartaric acid
